Monday Mingle..

I am behind.. again. 

I did have one posted and uploaded yesterday but it was really choppy! 

Turns out my laptop seems to be overheating.. 

So I posted a quick one this morning. At least I tried!

I think she is a natural!

alone....

Right now I am alone. I have been alone for about 3 hours now. Most moms would say.. wow! How Awesome! I wish I can be alone..

I can not say the same..

I don't like being alone at all!

Yes, ok.. first thing in the morning.. I like it.. but it is only for an hour or two. I can handle an hour or two.. I can't handle 3 hours..

I am feeling lonely

Even at night.. if Angel is working or sleeping.. I get lonely. I even cry.. Angel doesn't even understand this. I don't think anyone does.

It is too quiet.
I don't want to turn on the tv
I have spent the last three hours watching things on You Tube..
like an old episode of Dawson's creek
and a video put together for the last episode..
which made me cry.

Yep, I am odd
I don't like being alone.
sigh..

Someone please come home soon!

Another Late Monday Mingle

My Dad..

 

This is my dad...
He is the strongest man I know...
and also the most compassionate.

He went to the hospital to have surgery on a tumor in his leg..
that he had for 30 years..
There was no cancer (Praise God!)
he was supposed to go to rehab..
but they wouldn't take him..
because he was already walking soon after the surgery
so they sent him home.
all was well
til a week after the surgery..
He started acting weird... Like he was totally drugged up
dizzy when standing
stumbling
his blood pressure was going down..
the visiting nurse was even worried..
I made dad promise me he would call the doc first thing in the morning.
But we should have taken him that evening before heading home.
Next morning mom found him in a really bad state.
Ambulance was called..
Long story short.. his kidneys failed
and all the meds were not filtering out.
His body was highly toxic

We almost lost him..

But you see.. my dad is a fighter
and prayers were sent from every corner
Before they could do dialysis, his kidneys started working again
He has been made to sleep for a few days.. and he is coming out of it now
and the first thing my dad did when he woke..
was fight to get out of bed..
thankfully the nurse and mom calmed him down
but I just have to smile
cause my dad is coming back again

Seeing my dad like that was the scariest thing ever!
As I sit here and shed tears..
I am thankful that the Lord is not ready to take him home yet..
Cause we all still need him here with us. 

I love you Dad!

Been a really rough day...

This is going to be a random bullet post.

• My dad is in the hospital
• kidney failure
• last week he had a tumor taken from his leg
• we visited him yesterday.. 
• he didn't look good
• mom found him this morning and called ambulance
• we also have no clean water
• it is brown
• we never got the notice that the town was flushing the system
• so we never prepared
• tonight was also photoshoot for ballet, tap and kids in motion
• oh my word.. I was not prepared
• fringes were hard..
• thankfully a mom came over to help
• then of course changing for the next two
• rush rush rush
• never mind the work I put into the bun 
• Anna's hair is so thin
• so I used a sock to give it substance .. lol
• so glad today is over
• please pray for my dad though.  
• I am very worried and trying to give it to God.

Hello.. Remember me.. I am such a horrible blogger! 

Life has been crazy.  Annaleah had her 9th birthday party last week.  

Here is a quick pic of the gang.. 

 and the rocking birthday cake!! 

 Now if only those guitar strings were just a little more straight!

The nieces were here for the week and then Anna had her birthday movie and dinner at a Chinese Buffet. 

I will definitely post more pics hopefully tomorrow.

Another Monday Mingle

Another crazy week!  We just had a Birthday Party for my daughter on Saturday and this week my nieces are staying.  My voice is in bad shape due to being sick for over a week.  I decided to have my niece Jade do the Monday Mingle in my place.
